TNAMFT presents:

What we all need to know about the changes to TN statutes in 2024

8-10 a.m. Eastern / 7-9 a.m. Central

Virtual Online

Earn 2 Ethics CEs as we discuss four recently passed Acts by the TN Legislature which affect marriage and family therapists, counselors, clinical social workers and other mental health professionals in 2024. New changes address several updates to duty to warn, parent rights, and changes to records request requirements affecting minor as well as adult clients. Participants can pre-submit questions to be answered as time permits.

Learning Objectives:

  • Participants will be able to describe changes affecting them professionally and how to comply with the change.
  • Participants will discuss areas of challenge in clinical practice created by these new laws.
  • Participants will learn where to find documentation of changes and how to avoid the online rumor mill that often purveys misleading information about possible changes.

Speakers:

  • Melody Cline, MA, LMFT, CCTP, RPT-S™, AAMFT Approved Supervisor
  • Connie Crossley, M.A., LMFT, AAMFT Approved Supervisor

Cost:

  • $40 TNAMFT Members
  • $20 Students
  • $75 Non-TNAMFT Members
