TNAMFT Officer & Director Nominations

Call for Nominations - TNAMFT issues its official call for nominations for 2019 elections.  The deadline for submission of nominations is October 15, 2019.  Please contact TNAMFT Secretary Ashley Dumas to submit names for Officers and Directors (aedumas@gmail.com).  Platform statement of eligible candidates will appear in the November E-Briefs, and electronic elections will be conducted in early December. 

OPEN BOARD POSITIONS:

TREASURER [2020 - 2022]. The Treasurer will serve a term of three years (3) and must be a Clinical Fellow of AAMFT.  The Treasurer shall serve as Chairperson of the Finance Committee, shall oversee the management of funds for duly authorized purposes of the Division, shall prepare the annual budget, and shall present periodic financial reports to the Board and an annual report to the membership.  The Treasurer shall attend all Board meetings.  

EAST TENNESSEE REPRESENTATIVE [2020 - 2022] The three Directors shall serve a three-year term, staggered so that one (1) shall be replaced each year….  Further, one Director shall come from each of the three major divisions of the State.   In order for a Member to become eligible for Board service, s/he must have been a Member of the AAMFT for five years [ in good standing ].  ETR shall help coordinate regional activities and serve on assigned committees and at the pleasure of the President.  ETR shall attend all Board meetings and make an annual report to the membership.

STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE - [2020 - 2021] The Student Associate Representative shall serve a two (2) year term…shall serve on appointed committees to voice concerns of student /associate members; shall facilitate the flow of information in student networks; shall actively recruit eligible persons to become AAMFT members and be involved in divisional and central affairs and conferences; shall assist in Student Paper Competition at the annual conference.  The SAR shall attend all Board meetings.
