LEGISLATIVE UPDATE

TNAMFT lobbyist Jenny Ford has been working double-time defending the profession of marriage and family therapy.  Her top priorities are protecting our AAMFT Code of Ethics and proposed rule amendments; advocating for MFT inclusion in student loan reimbursement; and weighing in on bills that could foreseeably influence our profession.  As it is early in the legislative session, only 100 bills have been filed.  Enclosed are the bills that Jenny is tracking on behalf of TNAMFT at this time.  Stay tuned to TNAMFT for urgent and important legislative and regulatory updates.
